...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN PLATTE COUNTY
THROUGH 200 PM MDT...

At 135 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles northwest of Chugwater, or 16 miles south of Wheatland, moving
northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Chugwater, Slater, and Antelope Gap.

This includes Interstate 25 in Wyoming between mile markers 49 and
71.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Cheyenne.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM MDT for
southeastern Wyoming.
