...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN NIOBRARA...
NORTHEASTERN PLATTE AND EAST CENTRAL CONVERSE COUNTIES THROUGH 700 PM
MDT...

At 616 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Glendo State Park, or 24 miles southeast of Douglas, moving northeast
at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Glendo, Keeline, Glendo State Park, Reno Cove Campground, Sandy Beach
Campground, Bennett Hill Campground, and Two Moon Campground.

This includes Interstate 25 in Wyoming between mile markers 112 and
119.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
southeastern and east central Wyoming.
