The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
central and south central Kansas.

FOR NORTH CENTRAL PAWNEE...EASTERN RUSH AND SOUTHEASTERN ELLIS
COUNTIES...

At 719 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Shaffer, moving
east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Otis, Bison, Timken, Pfeifer, Loretta, and Shaffer.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

building.
