...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Mississippi River At Aitkin affecting west-central Aitkin and
  central Crow Wing Counties.

.Recent rains caused river levels to rise to minor flood stage
overnight, and very slow recessions have been observed today. The
river is expected to remain just below flood stage overnight into
Monday. Additional rain expected Monday and Tuesday could lead to
persistent high levels near minor flooding, with a 10 to 20 percent
chance of exceeding minor flood stage Tuesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL TOMORROW AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...No flooding is currently forecast. River levels remain high
  near minor flood stage.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Aitkin.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, The boat ramp at Aitkin city park floods.
  A few driveways become covered with water in the Cedarbrook area.
  Minor flooding of farmland occurs in the Cedarbrook community.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 12.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to stay near 12.9 feet this
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    13.0 feet on 05/05/2017.
  - Flood safety information can be found at
