...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 AM CDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Minor flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...In Wisconsin, west-central Ashland, southern Bayfield,
  southeastern Douglas, northern Sawyer and northwestern Washburn
  Counties.

* WHEN...Until 515 AM CDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
  imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1140 PM CDT Monday, Doppler radar and automated rain
    gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms is ongoing.
    Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly,
    especially in southern Bayfield and northern Sawyer County
    where the heaviest rainfall up to 2.5 inches has occurred.
    Between 1.25 and 2.25 inches of rain have fallen across the
    entire advisory area.
  - Southern Bayfield and northern Sawyer County are the most
    likely places to experience minor flooding.
    Additional rainfall amounts of 0.75 to 1.25 inches are
    expected over the area as thunderstorms are expected to
    continue through 2 AM Monday night.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Round Lake, Cable, Barnes, Drummond, Seeley, Namekagon Lake,
    Namekagon, Clam Lake, Spider Lake, Lake Owen, Totagatic Lake,
    Lost Land Lake, Upper Eau Claire Lake, Nelson Lake, Teal
    Lake, Grand View, Middle Eau Claire Lake, Totagatic Flowage,
    Ghost Lake and Day Lake.
  - Up to 2.5 inches of rainfall has occurred near Drummond,
    Namekagon and Cable in far southern Bayfield County and
    between Minong and Hayward.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
