.DISCUSSION...
Today should be another warm day with high temperatures near 85
degrees and no precipitation expected. There will be some gusty
south winds with gusts to near 20 mph in the afternoon and good
mixing leading to excellent smoke dispersal. Despite hot
temperatures, relative humidity is only expected to fall to around
40-45% this afternoon. Tonight, chances for showers and
thunderstorms increase into Thursday, with showers and
thunderstorms likely Thursday as a cold front sweeps across the
area. Some severe thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon and
evening.
