.DISCUSSION...

Search site and General Ely Forecast -

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue to
affect the region until sunset this evening. Any risk of severe
storms is now over. The stronger cells will likely cause gusty and
erratic winds at times. Otherwise, breezy southwest to west winds
are expected into this evening.

There will be a break from rain tonight, but additional scattered
light rain showers are expected to redevelop later tonight and
persist into Thursday. Gusty northwest winds are expected to
persist through Thursday.

Ely Visibility and Ceilings -

VFR ceilings are expected through the evening, with MVFR
conditions with the scattered showers and storms. MVFR stratus
clouds are expected to slide into the area from the northwest
tonight, then lingering into Thursday. There may be a few hours of
IFR ceilings in the morning. Visibility is expected to remain VFR
tonight into Thursday.

                    showers through the night. Slight chance of
                    thunderstorms overnight.
