.DISCUSSION...

Search site and General Ely Forecast -

Radar this morning shows a band of light rain sliding north which
will cross through Ely on it`s way to the International Border.
Lightning is not expected with this band of precipitation.

Scattered rain showers will continue through the day with a slight
increase in thunderstorm potential by the afternoon. High res
guidance is only hinting at a 10-15% chance for some lightning
over Ely with decreasing chances farther north.

Ely Visibility and Ceilings -

Mostly VFR conditions are expected through the day. Ely is
expected to be mostly cloudy with ceilings above 5000 ft.
Intermittent showers could briefly lower visibility to MVFR. Rain
chances quickly taper off after sunset.
