Another warm day with Min RHs around 40% this afternoon. Persistentsoutherly winds will continue with a few gusts in the afternoon around 20mph. Low level inversions to start the day will make for poor mixing but improve to good by the afternoon. Rain chances look minimal today, although we have seen a few echoes this morning across the Arrowhead, this activity will largely diminish by mid morning. Overnight, there will be additional chances for rain and a few storms, but the better chances will arrive Thursday afternoon as a cold front moves west to east. This will also bring the threat of severe storms capable of hail up to ping pong ball, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes possible. As far as rain totals go, it will be very feast or famine. Current guidance has the area seeing a 70% chance of at least 0.25 inches of rain over the next 48 hours. However, if a storm does manage to go over the location some of the high res guidance has been showing accumulations in excess of 1.50 inches. .TODAY...
