  Outer Apostle Islands Beyond 5 NM from Mainland...
  Port Wing to Sand Island WI...
  Sand Island to Bayfield WI...

At 130 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms, capable of
producing winds to around 30 knots, small hail, and frequent cloud to
water lightning. These thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Raspberry Island to near Herbster to 11 nm south
of Port Wing Harbor. The thunderstorms were nearly stationary.

Ironwood Island, Basswood Island, Sand Island, Stockton Island,
Devils Island, Cat Island, Manitou Island, North Twin Island,
Herbster, Meyers Beach, York Island, Eagle Island, Apostle Islands
National Lake Shore, Port Wing Harbor, Outer Island, Rocky Island,
Raspberry Island, Oak Island, Siskwit Bay, and Apostle Island Sea
Caves.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds up to 33 knots, locally higher waves,
lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek safe
harbor immediately until these storms pass.
