...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN KOOCHICHING AND
NORTHWESTERN ST. LOUIS COUNTIES THROUGH 630 AM CDT...

At 603 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Rainy Lake West to 11 miles southeast of
Big Falls. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
International Falls, Littlefork, Nett Lake, Big Falls, Kabetogama,
Rainy Lake West, Voyageurs National Park, Kabetogama Lake, Ranier,
Grand Falls, Ray, Island View, Ericksburg, and Bois Forte Band Nett
Lake Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 AM CDT for
north central and northeastern Minnesota.
