...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN AITKIN COUNTY THROUGH
345 AM CDT...

At 315 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Palisade, or 12 miles west of Big Sandy Lake, moving northeast at 40
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Big Sandy Lake, Palisade, Libby, Jacobson, Savanna Portage State
Park, Waukenabo, Ball Bluff, Gun Lake, Bain, and Waldeck.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 AM CDT for
north central and east central Minnesota.
