...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL KOOCHICHING AND
NORTHWESTERN ST. LOUIS COUNTIES THROUGH 700 AM CDT...

At 626 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles north of Voyageurs National Park to 6
miles north of Ash Lake to 16 miles west of Nett Lake. Movement was
east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Nett Lake, Ash Lake, Kabetogama, Voyageurs National Park, Kabetogama
Lake, Rainy Lake West, Black Duck Lake, Ray, Sand Point Lake, and
Bois Forte Band Nett Lake Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 AM CDT for
north central and northeastern Minnesota.
