...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN ITASCA AND CENTRAL
ST. LOUIS COUNTIES THROUGH 145 PM CDT...

At 110 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles north of Lake Vermilion to 11 miles
south of Cook to Hibbing. Movement was northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hibbing, Lake Vermilion, Chisholm, Mountain Iron, Keewatin, Buhl,
Nashwauk, Cook, Angora, Kinney, Leetonia, Shermans Corner, Big Rice
Lake, Kelly Lake, Bois Forte Band Vermillion Lake Area, Trout Lake,
Idington, and West Two Rivers Reservoir.
