Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY SATURDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The West Fork Des Moines River at Estherville, or from the
  Iowa-Minnesota border to near Wallingford.

* WHEN...Until early Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Mike Mickelson Park south of Iowa 9 is
  inundated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 11.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is near its crest now and is forecast to
    begin slowly falling later this morning. It will fall below
    flood stage early Friday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
