This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Today

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tonight through Thursday

Active weather returns this weekend and into early next week with
multiple chances for showers and storms. A few strong to severe
storms will be possible in addition to a threat for locally heavy
rainfall.

Heat and humidity build over the weekend with hot temperatures
resuming Sunday and lasting into next week. The heat index may top
100 degrees at times along with overnight lows only dropping into
the 70s.
