This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Severe weather will be possible across the western and northern
parts of the state Saturday afternoon. Primary threats will be
damaging winds and hail with a tornado or two possible in the far
west. Additional strong to severe storms will be possible across
the north on Sunday. Locally heavy rainfall will be possible both
days.

Heat and humidity build over the weekend with hot temperatures
resuming Sunday and lasting into next week. The heat index may top
100 degrees at times along with overnight lows only dropping into
the 70s.
