Rating: EF0 Estimated Peak Wind: 85 mph Path Length /statute/: 3.20 miles Path Width /maximum/: 150 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 05/24/2024 Start Time: 04:53 AM CDT Start Location: 2 S Johnston / Polk County / IA Start Lat/Lon: 41.6607 / -93.7062 End Date: 05/24/2024 End Time: 04:57 AM CDT End Location: 2 ENE Johnston / Polk County / IA End Lat/Lon: 41.6952 / -93.6649 Survey Summary: A fairly concentrated area of primarily tree and power line damage occurred in and near the City of Johnston. The damage appeared to begin near Terra Park with an approximately 3 mile path extending northeastward towards Beaver Drive.
