...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN WRIGHT...
SOUTHEASTERN HANCOCK AND SOUTHWESTERN CERRO GORDO COUNTIES THROUGH
615 PM CDT...

At 539 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Elm Lake, or 6 miles north of Clarion, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Belmond, Elm Lake, Klemme, Thornton, Meservey, Goodell, and Belmond
Municipal Airport.

This includes Interstate 35 near mile marker 181.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
north central Iowa.
