...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN POWESHIEK...
NORTHEASTERN MARION...NORTHWESTERN MAHASKA AND SOUTHERN JASPER
COUNTIES THROUGH 1130 PM CDT...

At 1058 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 4 miles southeast of Rock Creek Lake to 9 miles
southeast of Iowa Speedway to near Monroe. Movement was southeast at
25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Newton, Pella, Grinnell, Montezuma, Monroe, Prairie City, New Sharon,
Rock Creek Lake, Iowa Speedway, Lake Red Rock, Sully, Kellogg,
Lynnville, Oakland Acres, Reasnor, Searsboro, Pella Municipal
Airport, Grinnell Regional Airport, Rock Creek State Park, and Newton
Municipal Airport.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 165 and 188.
