  Western Jasper County in central Iowa...

* Until 1100 PM CDT.

* At 1014 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Valeria, or
  11 miles northeast of Altoona, moving southeast at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Newton, Mitchellville, Colfax, Prairie City, Iowa Speedway, Mingo,
  Lambs Grove, Valeria, Prairie City Krohn Airport, and Newton
  Municipal Airport.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 150 and 169.
