...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM CDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN MADISON AND NORTHEASTERN ADAIR COUNTIES...

At 809 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 4 miles northwest of Bevington to near
Winterset-Madison County Airport to 6 miles south of Earlham, and are
nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Tennis ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Public reported near tennis ball sized hail around
         Winterset.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Winterset, Earlham, Winterset-Madison County Airport, and Badger
Creek State Park.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 94 and 99.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
