A pattern of showers and thunderstorms arrives toward sunrise through Tuesday morning preceding a return of warmer and more humid air by Tuesday afternoon. This also keeps thunderstorms active Tuesday night and Wednesday until the next cold front sweeps through the region ushering in high pressure for the late week period.
