...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN WAYNE COUNTY
THROUGH 330 AM EDT...

At 257 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Canton, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Livonia and Canton around 300 AM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Plymouth and Westland.

This includes the following highways...
 I-275 between mile markers 24 and 29.
 I-96 between mile markers 168 and 172.
 M-14 between mile markers 16 and 21.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
