...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN SHIAWASSEE AND
NORTHWESTERN LIVINGSTON COUNTIES THROUGH 530 AM EDT...

At 441 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Perry, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Howell, Durand, Fowlerville, Perry, Laingsburg, Cohoctah, Morrice,
Byron, Bancroft, Oak Grove, Bennington, Vernon, Conway Township, and
Shaftsburg.

This includes the following highways...
 I-96 between mile markers 125 and 132.
 I-69 between mile markers 98 and 121.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
