...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN WASHTENAW COUNTY
THROUGH 930 PM EDT...

At 833 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Ann Arbor, moving north at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Dexter, Salem, Dixboro, Whitmore Lake, Barton
Hills, and Delhi Mills.

This includes the following highways...
 I-94 between mile markers 167 and 174, near mile marker 178, and
between mile markers 181 and 184.
 M-14 between mile markers 1 and 15.
 US-23 between mile markers 36 and 52.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
