...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Cedar River at Cedar Rapids affecting Linn County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

The next statement will be issued by Friday evening at 730 PM CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT TO SUNDAY
EVENING...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Cedar River at Cedar Rapids.

* WHEN...From late tonight to Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 14.2 feet, Water affects the lowest sections of C
  Street SW near Prairie Creek.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 10.9 feet and rising.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late tonight to a crest of 14.2 feet early Saturday morning.
    It will then fall below flood stage late Sunday morning.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
