Rating: EF1 Estimated Peak Wind: 110 mph Path Length /statute/: 4.16 miles Path Width /maximum/: 70 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 05/24/2024 Start Time: 05:56 AM CDT Start Location: 2 W Delta / Keokuk County / IA Start Lat/Lon: 41.3317 / -92.3778 End Date: 05/24/2024 End Time: 06:02 AM CDT End Location: 2 SE What Cheer / Keokuk County / IA End Lat/Lon: 41.3756 / -92.3232 Survey Summary: An NWS survey team found damage consistent with an EF-1 tornado, just northwest of Delta, Iowa, in Keokuk County early Friday morning. The brief tornado had estimated winds around 110 mph, and caused significant damage to trees and outbuildings. There were no injuries.
