...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern Rock
Island, northern Scott and southeastern Clinton Counties through 545
PM CDT...

At 506 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Donahue, or 10 miles northwest of Davenport, moving northeast at 40
mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could cause minor tree limb damage and blow
         around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects
         is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Davenport, Clinton, Eldridge, DeWitt, Camanche, Walcott, Albany,
Princeton, Long Grove, Cordova, Grand Mound, Donahue, McCausland, Low
Moor, Dixon, Goose Lake, Maysville, New Liberty, Malone, and Camp
Liberty.

This includes Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 282 and 290.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring and may lead to localized flooding.
Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Stay away from
flooded areas. Report any flooding to local law enforecement.
