...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of west central
Whiteside, northeastern Rock Island, northeastern Scott and
southeastern Clinton Counties through 300 PM CDT...

At 217 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Cordova, or 9 miles southwest of Clinton, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Clinton, Camanche, Garden Plain, Albany, Princeton, Cordova, Rock
Creek Marina and Campground, Newton Corners, Folletts, Rock Creek
Park, and Princeton Wildlife Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring and may lead to localized flooding.
Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Stay away from
flooded areas. Report any flooding to local law enforcement.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
