...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of central and north central Missouri, including
  the following counties, in central Missouri, Saline. In north
  central Missouri, Carroll and Chariton.

* WHEN...Until 145 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 819 AM CDT, Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 4 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Carrollton, Salisbury, Brunswick, Keytesville, Hale,
    Bosworth, Miami, Mendon, Bogard, Tina, De Witt, Triplett and
    Dalton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
