Fire Weather Planning Forecast for New Mexico and Far West Texas

.DISCUSSION...
Our quiet fire weather conditions will continue this week. Today
our winds will come around to the southeast and we could see some
low end gusty winds on the west slopes of area mountains. Our
winds will generally be from the south or southeast this week, but
will stay well below critical levels. Min RH`s today will be in
the teens in the lowlands and above 20% in area mountains. For
Monday through midweek our min RH`s will be at or above 20% for
the whole area and then we will see slightly lower min RH`s as we
finish out the week. Ventilation rates will range from fair to
good.
