Fire Weather Planning Forecast for New Mexico and Far West Texas

.DISCUSSION...
We will continue to see lower fire weather concerns as we will
have generally light surface winds and min RH`s look to stay above
15% the next several days. We will continue to see a slight
chance for rain each day into the middle of next week. Any rain
that falls on recent burn scars could lead to flash flooding. Min
RH`s next week, will range from 15 to 25% in the lowlands and 20
to 30% in area mountains. We will see hot temperatures return for
the middle of next week, with most lowland locations running at or
above 100 degrees. Ventilation rates will range from fair to good
over the next couple of days.
