This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for South-Central Texas..

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Potential Tropical Cyclone One located across the southwestern
Gulf of Mexico will bring deep tropical moisture to South Central
Texas starting early Wednesday morning and continuing through
Thursday. Widespread heavy rainfall totals of 1 to 4 inches are
projected, and a few areas could see amounts in excess of 6
inches. Although drought conditions in area streams and lakes
could help minimize flooding impacts, some locations are expected
to experience dangerous run-off conditions with rapid rises in
river and lake levels possible. A Flood Watch will go into effect
across the southern half of South-Central Texas from Wednesday
morning through Thursday afternoon.

A brief isolated tornado may be possible Wednesday into Wednesday
night across our southeastern most counties within the coastal
plains.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated.
