.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
Afternoon cumulus are back once again this afternoon. Tropical low
is onshore and spinning just inland of the Georgia coastline,
bringing additional cloud cover to far east central GA. This feature
has not progressed inland as much as expected, so rainfall today has
been more limited than forecast. Still, rain and thunderstorms this
afternoon remain possible, especially in east central Georgia. Winds
are from the east to ENE across central GA from 4-8 mph, lighter and
more variable the further north you go.
Sunday, rain chances have decreased and will once again be centered
around east central Georgia during the afternoon hours. Later into
the evening, an approaching front will cause some increased rain
chances in far north Georgia. Cloud cover will once again be
dictated by afternoon cumulus. Min RHs should fall into the 30s and
40s across the area. 20 ft winds will be from the west at 4-8 mph.
Mixing heights will rise to 5-8 kft across the area, but transport
winds from the west will remain relatively light keeping ADI values
lower.
