.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
Friday and Saturday`s weather regime will be dominated by surface
high pressure, bringing a nice reprieve from the last few days of
rainier conditions. High temperatures Friday and Saturday will be
running in the 80s to low 90s. Dewpoint temperatures will be running
cooler than normal for June, with areawide dewpoints in the 50s to
low 60s Friday and in the 50s on Saturday. This will drive our
relative humidities into the 30s and 40s areawide on Friday and into
the upper 20s across central Georgia increasing to the low 40s
across north Georgia on Saturday. Friday, breezy northwest winds at
8 to 12 mph will diminish on Saturday to 5mph or less becoming
calm/variable at times. Another frontal boundary will produce more
active weather conditions, bringing daily rain and thunderstorm
chances beginning Sunday and lasting through midweek.
