.DISCUSSION...
As a strong surface high pressure begins to develop across the
Eastern US, weather conditions will be dry and benign through the
remainder of the day into tomorrow. Minimum relative humidity values
this afternoon will be in the upper 20s and low 30s in central
Georgia and mid 30s in north Georgia this afternoon. Winds will be
NW this afternoon, peaking at 8-12 mph with gusts up to 20 mph. On
Wednesday afternoon, RH values will range from 25-30 percent in
central Georgia and 30-35 percent in north Georgia. A few locations
in east-central Georgia could briefly drop below 25 percent tomorrow
afternoon, but fire danger issues are not anticipated at this time.
Winds will be NW at 8-12 mph with gusts up to 20 mph once again on
Wednesday.
