.DISCUSSION...Good afternoon! The forecast for this afternoon and
tonight remains consistent with previous forecasts. The influence of
high pressure centered to the northeast of Georgia is expected to
keep conditions rain-free. Temperatures near 90 this afternoon will
drop below 90 degrees by 6 PM, gradually dropping through the evening
hours and dipping below 80 around 10 PM. Relative humidity values
around 40 percent this afternoon will keep heat index values close to
the actual temperatures. Winds will be from the east at around 10
mph with gusts to around 20 mph this afternoon, dropping to 6-8 mph
