...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of Paulding,
southwestern Cherokee, northwestern DeKalb, southwestern Forsyth,
Haralson, northern Carroll, Cobb, northern Douglas, southwestern
Gwinnett, northeastern Fulton, Polk and southeastern Bartow Counties
through 700 AM EDT...

At 627 AM EDT, a line of strong thunderstorms was along a line
extending from Milton to near Burnt Hickory Ridge to Esom Hill, and
moving southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...40 to 50 mph wind, pea sized hail and frequent cloud to
         ground lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
         light, unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Atlanta, Marietta, Douglasville, Decatur, Dallas, Cedartown,
Buchanan, Peachtree Corners, City of South Fulton, Sandy Springs,
Roswell, Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Smyrna, Dunwoody, Milton, Kennesaw,
Duluth, Woodstock, and Acworth.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
