...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN GRAND FORKS AND
WALSH COUNTIES THROUGH 915 AM CDT...

At 835 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Inkster, or 17 miles southwest of Grafton, moving north at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Grafton, Park River, Minto, Hoople, Gilby, Fordville, and Edinburg.

This includes Interstate 29 between mile markers 179 and 184.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
