...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN BENSON...TOWNER AND
NORTHWESTERN RAMSEY COUNTIES THROUGH 1100 PM CDT...

At 1014 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Mylo to 9 miles northeast of York to
Harlow. Movement was northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Cando, Leeds, Bisbee, Rocklake, Penn, Brinsmade, and Harlow.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
northeastern North Dakota.
