into next week. Winds will not be as strong, but will gust from 10

&&

.UPDATE...Yesterday`s shortwave has passed well to the east with a
dry westerly flow aloft in place. Today will begin a warming trend

in store. Forecast trends are on track with no morning updates
needed.

.PREV DISCUSSION /435 AM MST/...Our s/wv has passed by to the north
and we are all done with strong winds and enhanced fire danger,
for now. The door is open for higher heights going forward, as
the northern stream of the jet becomes more progressive. This
means a warming trend for our area, most locations rising just a
bit above normal heading into next week. We will remain dry and
since this is not an amplified ridge pattern, expect normal
diurnal breezes from 10-20 mph each afternoon.

&&

.AVIATION...Sunday 26/12Z through Monday 27/12Z...VFR through the
period. SW winds at 10-20 kts by 18Z, becoming light and variable
after 03Z tonight.

OUTLOOK...Monday 27/12Z through Wednesday 29/12Z...VFR conditions
persist. SW winds 5-15 kts in the afternoons expected.

&&

.FIRE WEATHER...Today through Monday...Temperatures will be warming
with afternoon RHs falling into the mid teens to single digits.
Overnight recoveries will gradually decrease. Winds remain light.

Tuesday through Thursday...Temperatures continue moderating Tuesday
and then remain warm through Thursday. Afternoon RHs will continue
falling into the mid teens to single digits each day with overnight
recoveries only around 20-40% by mid week. Slightly breezier
