Minnesota...Iowa...

  Rock River at Luverne affecting Rock County.

  Rock River at Rock Rapids affecting Lyon County.

  Rock River at Rock Valley affecting Lyon and Sioux Counties.

  Little Rock River near George affecting Lyon County.

  Rock River near Hardwick affecting Rock County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY TUESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is
  forecast. This approaches the flood of record.

* WHERE...Rock River at Luverne.

* WHEN...Until early Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, The railroad tracks in Luverne are flooded
  and additional structures are threatened.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 5:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 13.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 5:30 PM CDT Friday was 13.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.3
    feet tomorrow morning. It will then gradually fall below
    flood stage by early Monday morning.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

* WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
  This approaches the flood of record.

* WHERE...Rock River at Rock Valley.

* WHEN...Until late Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, the driveway and yard of the house near
  the gage are flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 19.9 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:00 PM CDT Friday was 19.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 22.6
    feet early Sunday morning. It will then gradually fall below
    flood stage by late Tuesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:15 PM CDT Friday was 26.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 26.6
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then gradually fall
    below flood stage by Wednesday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 1313.5 feet, major agricultural flooding begins.
  Water reaches the bottom of the bridge on 250th Street, and 250th
  Street begins to flood east of the bridge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:45 PM CDT Friday the stage was 1313.2 feet.

    ending at 8:45 PM CDT Friday was 1313.4 feet.
