...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM CDT THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is ongoing.
* WHERE...A portion of south central South Dakota, including the
following counties, Aurora and Brule.
* WHEN...Until 730 PM CDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 741 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain had occurred. Flooding is already
occurring in the warned area. Between 2 and 6 inches of rain
had fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are possible
in the warned area over the next 24 hours.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Chamberlain, Plankinton, Kimball, White Lake, Stickney,
Storla, Grass Ranch Colony and Pukwana.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
