Warning for the following rivers in South Dakota...

  Big Sioux River above Dell Rapids affecting Minnehaha and Moody
  Counties.

  Big Sioux River near Egan affecting Moody County.

...Observed flooding changed from Moderate to Major severity for the
following rivers in Iowa...

  Little Rock River near George affecting Lyon County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE...Big Sioux River above Dell Rapids.

* WHEN...From this afternoon until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 1481.0 feet, Agricultural flooding upstream of Dell
  Rapids begins, and the City Park and ball fields in Dell Rapids
  will begin flooding. The campground also begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 1481.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 2:00 PM CDT Saturday was 1481.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 1317.5 feet, water reaches the bottom of the bridge
  on Hickory Avenue, and Hickory Avenue begins to flood south of the
  bridge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 1317.6 feet.
