Widespread rains in recent days have left most fuels well saturated. Drier conditions develop today with a lighter east or northeast wind and humidity levels dipping into the 40s and 50s this afternoon. Chances for showers and storms redevelop tonight into Thursday, and again Thursday night through Friday night. By Saturday morning, there is a high chance of a widespread 1+ inches of rain with locally higher amounts exceeding 3 inches expected north of a Lake Andes to Beresford to Worthington line.
