At 900 AM CDT, local officials reported flash flooding ongoing. FM 2268 between Salado and Vilas, SH 95 between Sparks and Bartlett, and many other roadways between Belton to Salado to Holland remain flooded. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Fire department reported. IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Killeen, Temple, Harker Heights, Belton, Nolanville, Salado, Little River-Academy, Holland, Stillhouse Hollow Lake, Belton Lake, Sparks, Union Grove, Prairie Dell, Woodland, Val Verde and Davilla.
