...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM CDT
FOR NORTHERN MILAM AND SOUTH CENTRAL FALLS COUNTIES...
At 719 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles west of
Calvert, or 13 miles northeast of Cameron, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Cameron, Rosebud, Buckholts, Wilson, Yarrelton, Crossroads, Silver
City, Hoyte, Jones Prairie, Hanover, Ben Arnold, Baileyville,
Maysfield, Pettibone, Burlington, Branchville, Gause, Wilderville,
and Minerva.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for central
Texas.
