.DISCUSSION...

KEY MESSAGES:

- Patchy fog this morning.

- Warmer and drier weather expected over the weekend.

WEATHER PATTERN OVERVIEW:

An active jet/zonal flow will remain across the northern
States/Canadian border region for the next week. Slight ridging
over the weekend will favor seasonably warm and drier conditions.
Another shortwave lifts across the region on Sunday with the
potential for showers and thunderstorms for Sunday afternoon and
evening. Ridge then rebounds through midweek as a trof digs along
the west coast. As southwest flow into Montana develops, showers
and thunderstorms will return for the end of the week.

FORECAST CONFIDENCE and DEVIATIONS:

Confidence is medium to high for the general conditions remaining
slightly warmer and drier than normal through much of next week.

.AVIATION...
