.DISCUSSION...
KEY MESSAGES:

  - A warm up to the 80s/low 90s Wed then stepping cooler through
    the weekend.

 - Dry conditions are expected despite a couple cool fronts.

WEATHER PATTERN OVERVIEW:

Progressive upper ridge will move into the Northern Rockies
Tuesday, then into the northern Plains Wednesday. This will allow
for +20C at 850 mb to enable 80s and low 90 degree temps to move
into the CWA. Being that the area received some rainfall in the
past week, and very little wind is expected, fire weather
concerns are minimal at this point.

A couple weak cold front then move through with the first on
dropping through Wednesday Night. This will knock high
temperatures Thursday into the 70s west to the mid 80s over the
Yellowstone Valley.

Another cold front moves through late Saturday, kncoking temps
down from NW to SE with highs Sunday in the 60s NW to 70s SE.
Further cooling is possible Monday.

Rain chances look minimal late in the period as an upper trough
over the Gulf of Alaska weakens as it moves east. TFJ

FORECAST CONFIDENCE & DEVIATIONS:

Temperature spread increases for late in the week with
uncertainty regarding positioning of west coast trough and track
of shortwaves ejecting from said trough. These differences will
also have an impact on precipitation chances, although in general
the forecast is expected to be mostly dry.
